Works perfect for charging my Tesla and Rivian off of one nema 14-50 outlet in the garage. I have the original portable chargers from both vehicles plugged in to the splitter and don’t have to think about which vehicle to charge. Just plug in and forget
Does what it's supposed to. Plug the EVSE on the secondary outlet into your EV and it'll charge. Plug the EVSE on the primary outlet into a different EV and the EV on the secondary outlet will stop charging until the primary car is done charging. If you configure both EVSEs to charge at half current, both EVs will charge simultaneously. Easy peasy.
Added the Smart Splitter for my Tesla and my Ford Lightning. Loving not having to pay an electrician to add another outlet, or having to plug and unplug for each charge. Very happy!
The Smart Splitter makes sharing 240V outlets for EV charging a breeze so you can save money with no panel upgrades, no permits, and no worries. Self Install. Save Money. Take Charge.
