For electricians & EV installers

Full panel? Still a yes.

When there's no room for a new 240V circuit, the Smart Splitter lets the EV charger share the dryer circuit. Quote a Level 2 install the homeowner says yes to — not a service upgrade they sit on.

Why pros carry it

The job you used to lose is now a same-day install.

Most panel-upgrade quotes stall. A Splitter quote closes, because it fits the budget the homeowner walked in with.

    Installer FAQ

    Questions electricians ask

Something else? Ask our partnerships team.

Does the Smart Splitter need a new circuit?

No. It plugs into an existing 240V receptacle and shares that circuit between the appliance and the EV charger. Permit requirements depend on your jurisdiction and the rest of the job — in British Columbia, for example, BC Hydro’s rebate requires an electrical permit.

What is the NeoCharge Energy Monitor?

A whole-home monitor you install inside the panel. Its 200A sensors read the main service, and the charger speeds up or slows down so the home stays within the panel’s rating — no service upgrade. It works with the Smart Splitter and the Autel AC Elite today, and a licensed electrician must install it.

How does it run a dryer and an EV on one circuit?

The dryer gets priority. When it starts, charging pauses; when it stops, charging resumes automatically. The circuit never carries both loads at once.

Which receptacles and amperages are supported?

NEMA 10-30, 14-30, 10-50, 14-50 and 6-50 in the US (14-30 and 14-50 in Canada). The 24A model is for 30A dryer circuits; the 40A model is for 50A circuits. 240V single-phase, indoor use.

Is it listed, and what is the warranty?

It is cUL listed for the US and Canada. Every unit has a 1-year warranty; the Pro Package extends that to 3 years with 60-day returns.

Which chargers can plug into it?

Plug-in Level 2 chargers with a matching NEMA plug. We sell bundles with Autel, Wallbox, LENZ and EVIQO chargers.
